Follycon: Eastercon 2018

IT IS ALMOST TIME. The Robot Army is mobilising and heading to FollyCon, in numbers greater than ever seen before.

That’s right, the legion will be out in force, and not only that we’ll be selling books, too! Drop by the dealer’s room Monday – Friday to pick up some wonderful novels and get yourself a pin badge! We’re also having a PAAAARTAAAYYY at 3PM on Saturday to launch Jeff Noon’s The Body Library and Patrice Sarath’s The Sisters Mederos. We’ll be giving away a free glass of wine with each book, and it cost an arm

Beware Seattle – the robots are coming!

That’s right, this weekend we’re dusting off the old droid transportation device and teleporting to Seattle’s DoubleTree by Hilton to celebrate Norwescon 40: Over the Hills and Far Away, the 40th year of one of the best conventions around!

All things Fantasycon and the winning of lovely awards

Angry Robot Invades B&N’s SF & F Blog

Xmas_AngstromHo, ho, ho! Merry (almost) Christmas!

Although for eleven months of the year we are angry, seething robots, threatening to overthrow earth’s puny leaders and instil some cybernetic terror from our orbital death platform, we’re actually pretty merry when it comes to the holidays.

I mean, look at Angstrom’s excellent Santa hat. Nothing screams ‘Joyeux Noël’ like a robot wearing a jolly hat, eh?

Do you know what else gets us in the holiday mood? Offering you guys something a little bit different. Which

Our Favourite Halloween Scares

Jason

Hallowe’en is almost upon us, which means it’s time to snuggle up on the sofa with a hot beverage and pull out that book or film you love to be frightened by (keeping a cushion close by to hide behind, of course). We’re gearing up to do the same, so we thought we’d share some of the Angry Robot team and author’s favourites.
