Hear Ye. Hear Ye. The Robots will be descending on Fantasycon 2018 this weekend for all things bookish and delightful!
Yes that’s right, we’ll be firing up our hoverboards and heading for The Queen’s Hotel in Chester from the 19th – 21st October. Not only have we got authors taking part in panels, but our very own publicity manager, Penny will be playing some late night D&D with other writerly folks (keep an eye on Twitter/Instagram for photos and possible videos).
Also, the con is home of the British Fantasy Awards and our very own Jeannette Ng is nominated for Best

Sorry to report but the Robots are a little rust-tinged and creaky this morning, as we attempt to kickstart ailing battery packs back to life after a splendid weekend at the UK Fantasycon, organised by the British Fantasy Society. Held in the once-majestic shambolic splendour of the Grand Hotel in Scarborough, a combination of wonderful people, fine autumnal seaside weather and us winning the Best Independent Publisher 2016 award made
It’s almost FantasyCon time! WHOOOOOT!!!!
We’re super excited for the return of one of our favourite UK conventions and can’t wait to catch up with you all in sunny (fingers crossed) Scarborough for some great panels, excellent discussions and most importantly, a pint.

This weekend the now sold out FantasyCon2015 comes to Nottingham, and as it’s on Angry Robot’s home turf we don’t even have to fire up our teleportation devices to attend!
