Happy Friday, humans!

We’ve got some good news for all fans of Patrice Sarath’s The Sisters Mederos: the crack team at Watkins Media have sold German rights to the novel to Feder & Schwert GmbH. So, if your German is up to scratch  and you want to read The Sisters Mederos in both English and German then you’ll soon be in luck. Or, if you have any friends who would prefer to read this intriguing, sororal, magical novel in their mother tongue, let them know!

Now, the good news isn’t over. While we have you, we wanted to captialise on your joy by revealing the cover of the second book in Patrice’s Tales of Port Saint Frey series, Fog Season, which will be out in February. You can expect the same hijinx that you’ve come to love from the coolest sisters around, but when a body is found in a dumb waiter the tension is set at an all time high and it’s going to be up to the girls to save the day… again. Our thanks to Paul Young for making Yvienne and Tesara look so very cool.

Fog Season by Patrice Sarath

After the shocking events of last summer, the high society of Port Saint Frey has plenty to gossip about. Who was the Gentleman Bandit? Why hasn’t he been captured? And what really happened that night when the Guildmaster disappeared? When the Guild hires Abel Fresnel, a detective with special powers of his own, to find the answers, Tesara and Yvienne Mederos have to avoid his probing questions and keep mum about their role in the events of that dark night. Everything’s more or less under control until a dead man turns up in the dumbwaiter…
