Heads-up: Angry Robot Fantasy Double-Bill author signing!
When: Saturday March 31st, from 13.30 – 15.00 (or thereabouts)
Where: the Manchester (UK) Arndale branch of Waterstones
Who and What:
Anne Lyle will be signing copies of her debut novel The Alchemist of Souls: a truly terrific alt-historical fantasy set in the era of Good Queen Bess, recounting the tale of one Mal Catlyn; gentleman adventurer, swashbuckling swordsman and newly-appointed bodyguard to the Skrayling ambassador to London.
“Anne Lyle conjures up a magical Elizabethan England of seedy glamour, long shadows, pulsating romance and heart-stopping adventure.” – Mark Chadbourn
Andy Remic will be signing the new, three-in-one omnibus edition of The Clockwork Vampire Chronicles: a blood and gore-drenched saga of the ancient hero Kell and his titanic struggle to save the land of Falanor from the bloodthirsty ravages of the invading Army of Iron. (And we’re sure he’ll sign other stuff as well, if you ask him really nicely…)
“a whirlwind of frantic battles and fraught relationships against a bleak background of invasion and enslavement” – Speculative Horizons
What to Do: No tickets, no admission fee, free and open to all and all are welcome! Just turn on up some time between 1.30 and 3.00 for your chance to meet these two fantastic authors and get them to sign their books for you.
And here’s one of those handy Google Maps to help you find your way (Waterstones is on the top level of the Arndale Centre, in the new extension, close to the indoor market):
See you there!
