kylieOh, come now – surely you didn’t think… It’s Kylie Chan, people! Dear me…

According to As If magazine, Kylie’s Dark Heavens trilogy is “packed with Chinese mythology, kick-ass action and sexual tension”.

Already a major success Down Under through HarperCollins’ Voyager imprint (book one is currently on its ninth printing!), the trilogy has proven a hit with fans and critics alike. Published worldwide by Angry Robot from April 2010, the trilogy is a must-have for all fans of urban fantasy, and there’s not a misunderstood vampire in sight, thank god!

The Dark Heavens Trilogy
Handsome young Hong Kong businessman John Chen employs Emma, a naïve young nanny, to care for his daughter. When she falls in love with her employer, however, Emma discovers he is not quite what he seems – he is being hunted by a whole horde ancient demons, dragons and gods, and they all want him dead. Emma will soon discover it is she who has the power to save them all…

  1. Ulrike from Germany

I visited a friend in Australia, bought Book 1 and read it in 2 days.
The next day she was starting moving to another house and needed me out of the way, so I went to the mall and bought book 2 and 3. I finished them on a weekend.

If you start you cannot stop reading.
I read the books so often know, that they are falling apart.
I even visited Hong Kong this year with a german friend, who also read the books, and we loved this too.

So everyone out there buy these books, you will not regret it.

  2. You Guys will love the first series, it’s absolutely fantastic. i read my first copies so much that i had to buy new copies to replace them.

we have the honor [being downunder] of getting hold of book 4 on Dec 16, yaaah

  3. It’s a little early to comment on that – we need to ensure we get the first three out and into the hands of the many thousands of readers who will love them – so I’ll just settle for giving a great big wink at this point.

  4. Will Angry Robot be publishing her next installment, the “Journey to Wudang” Trilogy nest year as well?
